Copyright Notice

What is protected

Everything created by eKad is protected by the Copyright Act 1987 and the international conventions Malaysia belongs to, including the Berne Convention. This includes:

card templates and designs, layouts, styles, illustrations (including our chibi characters and songket motifs) and animations;
the eKad name, the "Sampul Bermeterai" logo and brand identity;
source code, styles (CSS) and the Kad Kenangan files we generate;
website text, guides and marketing material.

What you may do

Share links to cards and eKad pages.
Use templates for your own event through the Platform, as allowed by the Terms of Use.
Copy sample wording, pantun and wishes from our guides for your personal cards or messages.
Keep your own Kad Kenangan as a personal memento.

What is not allowed

Copying, imitating or reproducing our templates, designs, animations or code, in whole or in part.
Selling, licensing or distributing our templates, including Kad Kenangan files as templates.
Scraping or bulk-downloading the Platform, or bypassing its content protections.
Removing copyright notices or brand marks.

User content

Photos and text uploaded by Hosts belong to them. Please do not download, copy or share photos from someone else's card without their permission.

Third-party material

The Fraunces, Plus Jakarta Sans, Amiri, Great Vibes and Cormorant Garamond fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License.
Sample photos in the demo are used under the Unsplash License.
The sample music "Romantic Wedding Piano" by PaulYudin is used under the Pixabay Content License.

Report infringement

If you believe content on eKad infringes your copyright, or you see our designs being copied, email us at hello@kad.izzahshop.com with the link, a description of your work and your contact details. We will review it and take appropriate action, including removing content.
