How to Make a Digital Greeting Card in 5 Steps

Updated 3 October 2026 ·2 min read

A digital greeting card is more than a picture with a caption. It can open like a present, carry a handwritten letter and hold wishes from many people at once.

1. Pick the occasion and mood

Birthday, graduation, new job, new baby, say sorry, Raya, thank you, get well or farewell. Each comes with fitting pages and suggested words, so you never start from a blank page.

2. Write your letter

The letter appears in handwriting, word by word. Change the suggested lines to include a place, a nickname or a memory only the two of you share.

3. Add photos and a surprise

A photo story shows one photo per moment with a line about it. For birthdays add a cake with candles to blow out; for gifts, a box that opens with confetti.

4. Collect wishes from friends (group card)

Turn on the sign link and share it in a WhatsApp group. Everyone writes a note and can add a photo. Signers only see who has signed; the notes stay a surprise until the card opens.

5. Lock it until the day

Set "open on", for example midnight on the birthday. You can send the link early; the recipient sees a countdown, and the card's content is only sent by the server when the time comes.
