Songket Wedding Card

Songket is the royal woven cloth of the Malay world, and its pattern is still the first choice for wedding cards. This template places two maroon and gold songket bands across the top and bottom, with ivory paper in between so the couple's names stay easy to read.

The card opens from a maroon envelope with a gold seal, followed by the bismillah in Jawi script. It feels like a classic printed card, yet guests can RSVP, open Waze and give salam kaut straight from their phone.

Best for

  • Akad nikah and bersanding at a hall or at home
  • Families who want a traditional look that still feels neat
  • Guests of every age

Colours and lettering

Maroon, gold and ivory. Names in a bold serif, small labels with wide letter spacing.

Animation

The envelope opens, the seal cracks, the card rises and unfolds; florals sway gently.
